Overcoming stress, anxiety or simply quietening that voice in your head that keeps saying you aren't good enough; is as simple as one thing.

You need to change the lens through which you view your world. But to do that, you need to change the lens through which you view yourself.

And to do that, you need to change your behaviours, what you think about, and the beliefs you hold about yourself.

The rules for a healthy and a fulfilled life have been the same since the dawn of time. The only thing that has changed is the environment we live in and the lifestyles we lead.

The stress associated with our jobs, relationships and finances keep rising at an alarming rate.

We are becoming more and more isolated, despite developments in technology that are meant to bring us together.

And despite the billions of dollars being spent on our healthcare systems, we are getting sicker every day.

More and more we are being bombarded with ‘junk mail’ messages, about what we should be doing, what we need to look like and what better looks like.

"Have a body like this, and you'll be happy", "Get a better job, and then you’ll be successful", or "Live in a better house and you'll be more respected”.

When the truth is; finding the things we seek most for our lives can only be found inside of us, across the dimensions of our body, mind and spirit.

Body is about what we eat, drink and nutrition, movement and exercise, and getting good sleep.

Mind is about having a good relationship with yourself and knowing there is nothing wrong with you, having good relationships with the people around you, and feeling part of a community.

Spirit is as simple as having a sense of connection with something greater than yourself, and the exploration of those things that we cannot see and touch.

If you ask someone on their death bed what they treasured most about their lives, they will tell you stories about moments, people and connections.

But despite this, most of us spend our days investing our time and efforts into things other than this.

Do you think perhaps we may be getting things backwards?

My truth, was for me to start experiencing more of the life I wanted, I needed to change how I spent my time and who I spent it with, what I filled my mind with and changing the limiting beliefs I held about what was possible for me.

My second truth, was this better life I wanted so deeply was not going be achieved by the things around me (money or status), but by what was happening inside of me (my thoughts, feelings and emotions).

So, maybe a way for you to start this journey towards more of the life you want, can be as simple as making a list of the moments that matter to you.

And by making this list, and putting aside the time to do more of these each day, you'll be on your way towards a better life.
